Six-coach teams. One huge Open. Room for a record-breaking 420 coaches
This summer saw the third edition of Home Nations take place in its spiritual home of Loughborough with a record-breaking 320 coaches taking part from twelve different countries!
Coach feedback rated this year’s tournament 4.8 out of 5 as The Home Nations continues to provide an epic Blood Bowl weekend.
With anticipation already building for Malta World Cup VI next year, the event team is excited to announce The Home Nations IV - World Cup Edition!
Just like the World Cup!
Over the last few years The Home Nations has provided a tournament faithful to Eurobowl. However, with next year bringing the sixth World Cup, The Home Nations is doing something a bit special - a World Cup format!
The tournament will use the World Cup ruleset with six-coach squads, and we’ll look to deliver a full dress rehearsal by streaming the event. Also, if it’s ready for testing, we'll use the World Cup tournament software too. It’s a chance to help the Maltese hosts prepare for what will surely be the biggest World Cup yet - and we can't wait!
Squads will be made up of six coaches in one big Home Nations Open. With room for up to 70 teams, The Home Nations IV could host a record-breaking 420 coaches!
Save the date: 3-4 July 2027
An event this size takes plenty of planning, so now is the time to start assembling your team.
If you’re keen to experience the World Cup edition then you’ll need to recruit five teammates and save the date for Home Nations IV, taking place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 July 2027 at Loughborough Students’ Union.
Set the alarm - Tickets released Sunday 4 October at 11am (BST)
Last year The Home Nations sold out in under nine minutes! Demand for tickets is expected to be high so captains will have to be ready to go.

We’ll publish a full guide shortly, before tickets go live, covering exactly how the sign-up process works, how much tickets cost and everything you need to know to secure your team’s place.
